Walnut-Crusted Porkchops

3 Tbsp crushed walnuts

3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 boneless pork chops (6 oz per chop)

Sautéed Mushrooms (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. In a small dish, mix walnuts, parmesan cheese, salt & pepper to taste.  In another bowl, lightly beat the egg.  Dip pork chops into egg mix and then coat with nut mixture and place on baking sheet.  Bake the chops for 10 minutes, flip them and continue baking till the reach 145 degrees in the center, about 10 minutes more. Top with sauteed mushrooms and cheese (optional)
